Vacation Bible School is such an exciting time for us at Corinth because it is not about us at all; it is about the community we live in! That’s why we do everything we can to love our community in Jesus name. In 2017 we ministered to over 100 people through this community wide Vacation Bible School.  We are praying that God will continue to bless the great things He is doing in our town and that you will be a part of this year’s VBS!

Frequently asked questions:

Will my child have fun?
What we hear from people that have attended in years past is “We will not miss next year.” “We love VBS at Corinth and will be back next year.” “My child had the best time. They talked about and sing the songs for weeks after VBS is over, thank you for doing VBS.”

What should my child wear to VBS?
T-shirt and shorts are great. Each night includes games that are played outdoors and some include water. While it is NOT necessary for your child to wear a bathing suit, closed toe shoes are recommended.

How much does VBS cost?
This event is completely free. However, nightly offerings will be taken up to support local missions. 100% of all offering funds go to support missions.

What is the food like?
Our competent staff serves a light supper each night of VBS. Meal items may include pizza, sandwiches, cookies, chips, and punch.

What if my child has food allergies?
We take special note at registration of any child that has any special dietary needs. Our food staff understands and will make alternative food available for such persons.

Is this a safe event for my child?
We take safety very seriously when it comes to children. Each child is registered and given a name tag to identify them. Each worker is screened and will also be wearing a name badge. In addition, we provide a security staff that are trained in child safety to patrol the grounds at all times during VBS. Members of the Louisburg police department are on call and available at all times as well.

Where do I drop off / pick up my child?
We would love for your whole family to stay and participate in all of the age appropriate fun. However, we understand that this is not always possible for everyone. Please escort your child in to be dropped off at the registration table located at the front of our facility. Children may be picked up in the auditorium at the end of each night of VBS.
Please Note: Children are NOT permitted to meet you in the parking lot for pick up. Your child will be sitting in the auditorium with their group at the close of each night waiting for you to come in and pick them up.

What will my child do at VBS?
Your child will have the opportunity to participate in 5 different fun and exciting activities each night of VBS. This is done in a rotation type fashion where each age group moves from one activity to another through the night. Your child will participate in our large group rally where we play exciting music and present live skits. Craft rotation is where your child will get to make a different age appropriate craft to take home with them. Food time is where your child will enjoy some great snacks. Recreation time is where the fun never ends. Bible study time is where your child will be presented with a fun, relevant, and motivational lessons based on a Biblical message. Music time is where your child will be taught to sing and dance to all of the VBS music. And finally, your child will be led back to the auditorium for the big group rally to end each exciting night of VBS.

What can Teens do at VBS?
Teens have a blast at VBS because we tailor it just for them. Students from 6th – 12th grades will meet and participate in the exciting group rally. Following the rally teens will go to their prospective rooms for live praise band music, and relevant dynamic speaking by professional student leaders. Teens will also have the opportunity to participate in group recreation time, enjoy free food, and make a craft. Teens will gather in the auditorium at the end of each night to participate in the ending rally.

What can Adults do at VBS?
As an adult participating in VBS, you will have the opportunity to participate in the large group rally with everyone. Immediately following the rally, adults will be asked to move to the their prospective room for the adult session. Adults will enjoy special live music and congregational singing. The session will include a challenging and dynamic message from God's Word. Following the adult session, you will have the opportunity to enjoy complementary food. We invite all adults to participate in the rally at the end of each evening in the auditorium.

Why do we do VBS?
The reason we do VBS is we simply love our community. Where does this love for our community come from? It comes from our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus is the sole reason that we exist and He is the One we serve. Find out more about Jesus and how you can know Him personally HERE.
